I love textile art, DIY, painting, jewelry making and cooking. I’m really into quilting, bag making and machine embroidery now.
My professional career is in information technology. Technology changes rapidly, so I am used to always having to figure things out.

my Experiences
I have always loved to sew and having 3 daughters, it was a joy to sew for them. I’m partial to making useful items. I try to reduce waste and often use found materials. The bag patterns I create come with layout diagrams to minimize material waste.
When my position was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, I turned to my favorite past time to provide masks for a volunteer group. I awakened the sewing beast and once again spend my leisure time sewing apparel, quilts and bags.
These days you will finding me learning and talking about vector graphics and embroidery software.
my goals
I started this website so that I could more easily share stories about my patterns and methods with the friends I have made all over the world who love this craft. I have learned so much from bag makers, quilters, re-fashioners and apparel sewists.
I want this site to be a resource for sharing ideas, solutions and encouragement for one another.
